Clean beauty isn’t a single list — it’s a philosophy: formulate with ingredients that are well understood and kind to both people and the planet, and leave out everything questionable, irritating, or simply unnecessary. For us that means treating the scalp as living skin, labelling honestly, and choosing ingredients you can actually understand.

Healthy hair grows from a healthy scalp
The scalp is skin — with its own oil balance, microbiome, and circulation at the root of every follicle. So we care for it first, not as an afterthought. Every botanical active we choose has to earn its place by doing something real for that environment: soothing irritation, balancing oil, calming flaking, or supporting the look of fuller hair.
Removing the harsh, stripping ingredients is only half the promise. Adding purposeful plant actives is what turns a product that merely “does no harm” into one that actively supports scalp wellness.
